We headed to the Gangneung to check out Gyungpo beach and some cherry blossoms. We came across a festival and had a great day. Check it out.

Parent teacher conference, Galbi, and Catan

This video is so embarrassing I obviously can not be “natural” while on camera, and I forget what I’m going to say.

Anyway Yesterday was payday so we got some cash, went out for dinner and bought Settles of Catan.

Eating beondegi in Korea

Trying some silkworm larva babies at a food stand. Not as climactic as I had hoped but still glad I tried them once. Oh and I’m sure my pronunciation of beondegi is way off, my bad.

Sorry everyone we have been MIA for a while. Here is a check in from Dan

Screen Golfing Like a Pro in Korea

I stink at golfing but this was a lot of fun. Free iced coffee and 18 holes of virtual screen golf baby! I wont show you how terrible I was but my score was about 75 over par. Not too shabby. The place had a hydraulic platform, unlimited iced drinks, candy, and Koreans staring in on our game. All of this for 20,000 won on Sunday or 10,000 won on a weeknight.

Eating Raw Horse Meat in Jeju, Korea

We went to Jeju South Korea and tried one of Jeju’s delicacies, horse meat. We didn’t know what we were getting into. We ordered “The Horse Special” and 7 courses later were stuffed beyond belief. Priscilla was overwhelmed by the time the 4th course arrived but she powered through it. We will probably never eat horse meat again, it was too strange to think about after the fact.

Dan and I were given tickets to this event tonight by one of our students parents.

We are so excited to see UV perform. I’m looking forward to seeing Breakbot and dancing to 80Kidz.

I hope we can make it to 5am.

Price of Doctor Visit in Korea

Priscilla wasn’t feeling so hot as the weather starts to get colder. She went to the doctor which was faster and way cheaper than we thought.

It’s Alive!

Walking in the seafood isle at Hyundai Department Store we noticed some type of still moving clams inside the package. May not be anything new to some people but this was crazy to us.
